PAYMENT INFORMATION
BOOKING AGREEMENT
This booking agreement is not intended to create a tenancy in respect of the property and it does not oblige any party to enter into a rental agreement.
This Holding Deposit is not at this stage a tenancy deposit subject to protection under the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in accordance with the provisions of the Housing Act 2004.
In the event that CITYHOUSE accepts the holding payment we shall reserve the room for 3 working days. If by the prospective renter’s conduct, Referencing is not completed or the Move-In Payment has not been paid in this period, the rental accomodation will become available to rent again and the Holding Deposit may be forfeited.
Any offer to rent the Property to you is subject to the rental agreement, receipt of satisfactory references and is at our discretion.
The holding deposit is refundable in full if:
● CITYHOUSE is unable to provide the rental accommodation as per the Prospective Tenancy Details outlined within this form.
A CITYHOUSE Holding Payment refund will be processed within 5 to 10 working days.
The holding deposit is NOT refundable if:
● The prospective renter provides false or misleading information.
● The prospective renter fails Referencing
● The prospective renter withdraws from the proposed agreement
● The prospective renter fails to take all reasonable steps to enter into a tenancy agreement.
● The prospective renter fails to pay the Move-In Payment within the requested time period
● The prospective renter fails to provide the required documents for Referencing within the requested time period
● The prospective renter fails to pass the Right to Rent check.
If the agreement does not proceed and we intend to retain the holding deposit, we will advise in writing the reason for this within 7 days.
The prospective renter is required to ensure that all the information you have provided in relation to the tenancy application is true and accurate.
